LogicPoint Advisors

The practice

LogicPoint Advisors is the independent insurance advisory practice of Cosmin Mandachescu — a Florida-licensed agent serving high-income professionals who need protection and accumulation planning that integrates with the work of their other advisors.

The practice operates on a consultative, multi-meeting basis. There is no transactional or commission-driven element to the engagements. The standard is suitability first: we determine whether insurance has a role in your situation before we discuss any product, and if the honest answer is that it doesn't, we say so.

The background

The independent insurance advisory practice is built on a software-engineering background. Over twenty years building software systems, with experience that includes FDA-regulated medical software development, shape the way the practice operates: every decision documented, every recommendation traceable, every conversation captured.

That discipline is not common in the insurance industry. It is, however, what the audience this practice serves — analytical professionals who make decisions through structured thinking — expects from any advisor they trust.

The philosophy

A few principles the practice holds firmly:

Insurance is one tool, not a category of its own. Insurance fits inside broader financial planning. When it adds real value, we recommend it. When it doesn't, we say so. We do not treat insurance as the goal; we treat the client's situation as the goal and use insurance only where it serves that goal.

Multi-advisor coordination is the standard. High-earning professionals are typically served by teams — CPAs, fiduciary advisors, estate attorneys. We work alongside the other professionals on your team. We do not replace them; we contribute the insurance analysis.

No pressure, multi-meeting process. Sophisticated planning takes time. A first conversation is exploratory. Decisions emerge through a structured sequence — discovery, analysis, design, coordination, implementation, review. Not in a single meeting.

Transparency about cost and trade-offs. Every recommendation includes the cost, the trade-offs, and the alternatives. We do not present any option without the honest framing of what it costs and what it does not solve.

The credentials

Florida Department of Financial Services 2-15 Life, Health & Variable Annuity license. License #G335891. The license authorizes us to discuss, recommend, and place insurance products in Florida. It does not authorize us to provide investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice — those are the work of separately credentialed professionals, and we coordinate with them rather than substituting for them.

The first conversation

A first conversation is exploratory. We discuss your situation, what kind of planning you are considering, your existing advisors, and whether our practice is a good fit. We do not present products in a first conversation. We do not put pressure on next steps. Sometimes the honest outcome is that we are not the right practice for the situation, and we say so.

Schedule a first conversation.

Exploratory, no obligation. We will discuss your situation and whether a structured engagement makes sense.
