Honest Self-Assessment

Is indexed universal life right for you?

Not a sales quiz. Six honest questions to help you think through whether IUL fits your situation — or whether something simpler would serve you better. No numbers, no projections, no information collected.

Six Questions

Think it through

Answer honestly. The goal is clarity, not a sale — if IUL isn't a fit, this tool will say so.

This is an educational self-assessment, not advice, a recommendation, or a quote. It does not project values, predict performance, or constitute an insurance illustration. IUL is a complex product and suitability depends on a full review of your finances, goals, and the specific policy — which only a personalized conversation with a licensed agent can provide. No answers are collected or transmitted.

Why No Numbers?

Why this tool doesn't project values

You'll find plenty of online tools that promise to project IUL cash value or "tax-free retirement income." We deliberately don't. Those projections rely on assumptions — caps, crediting, funding consistency — that can and do change, and an optimistic illustration is one of the most common ways people end up disappointed with IUL.

Honestly, the most useful thing we can offer online is honest self-assessment, not a number that looks impressive and turns out to be fragile. If the questions above suggest IUL might fit, the next step is a real conversation grounded in guaranteed contractual values — not a web projection.
