What might long-term care cost in the future?
Care costs tend to rise over time. This projects a rough future cost from today's cost, a time horizon, and an inflation assumption you control. Educational only — not a quote.

Why This Matters
The cost most plans don't account for
Health insurance and Medicare largely don't pay for ongoing custodial long-term care. Medicaid does, but generally only after most assets are spent down. That leaves the cost falling on savings or family — and because care is often needed years from now, inflation can make the future number substantially larger than today's.
This estimator's only job is to make that future number concrete enough to plan around. It deliberately uses simple assumptions you control, rather than pretending to predict an unknowable figure. The real planning conversation accounts for your assets, family situation, and which policy structures fit.
